For over a century, Roma FC has been one of the most successful and iconic football clubs in Europe. Throughout the years, several legendary players have contributed to the club’s success, cementing their place in history as some of the greatest figures in Roma FC’s illustrious history. Francesco Totti

Francesco Totti is one of the greatest players in AS Roma FC’s history. Over 24 years, he has made 786 appearances for the club, scoring 307 goals. The Roman native joined the youth academy in 1989 and made his professional debut at age 16. He went on to become the club's all-time leading scorer, with 250 goals in Serie A and also holds the records for most appearances in all competitions. 
During his time with Roma, Totti won two Coppa Italia titles (2007 and 2008) and helped the team reach the Champions League quarterfinals in 2007-08. He was also named Serie A Footballer of the Year in 2000 and 2001 and became only the third player in history to have made 500 Serie A appearances. 
Totti also represented Italy at three FIFA World Cups (1998, 2002, 2006), captaining the team at the 2006 tournament in Germany. He scored 9 goals in 58 caps for his country, helping them win the 2006 World Cup. He was also part of the Italian squad that reached the Euro 2000 final and won a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics. 
Totti left Roma as a player in 2017, but he continues to be an ambassador for the club. His legendary status with both Roma and Italy is secure, and his legacy will continue to live on in both countries.

Daniele De Rossi

Daniele De Rossi is one of the most iconic players to have ever worn the colors of AS Roma. During his 18 years at the club, De Rossi won 11 trophies and earned the nickname ‘Capitano Futuro’ from adoring fans.
De Rossi joined Roma as a 13-year-old and made his senior debut in 2001. He quickly established himself as a midfielder with an extraordinary talent for reading the game and dictating the tempo of play. His technical ability and tactical intelligence allowed him to be one of the most influential players on the pitch.
Throughout his career at Roma, De Rossi scored 63 goals in over 600 appearances, becoming the fourth-highest scorer in the club's history. He was renowned for his hard-working nature and leadership qualities, captaining the side for several seasons. In 2011, he was named Serie A Footballer of the Year.
De Rossi's time at Roma was also decorated with silverware. He helped the Giallorossi to two Coppa Italia titles and a Supercoppa Italiana, but his biggest achievement came in 2008 when Roma was crowned Serie A Champions for the first time in 18 years. De Rossi was integral to their title success, scoring crucial goals throughout the season.
Despite being linked with moves away from Rome on numerous occasions, De Rossi always remained loyal to Roma and became an icon amongst the club's supporters. He retired in 2019 after nearly two decades of service, leaving behind an incredible legacy. De Rossi is undoubtedly one of the greatest players to have ever represented AS Roma FC.

Giuseppe Giannini

Giuseppe Giannini is one of AS Roma FC's most iconic players of all time. Born in Rome, Giannini grew up as a die-hard Roma fan and began his professional career with the club in 1981. He was instrumental in the team's success over the following decade and is considered to be one of the greatest Roma players ever.
Giannini is best known for his superb technique, dribbling abilities, and long-range passing accuracy. His leadership on the pitch helped drive Roma to multiple successes, including the Serie A title in 1983 and the Coppa Italia title in 1991. He was also named Italian Footballer of the Year in 1987.
Throughout his career, Giannini was considered one of the best midfielders in Italy. He played a total of 400 matches for AS Roma, scoring 78 goals and helping the club win numerous accolades. In addition to his accomplishments with AS Roma, Giannini also had a successful spell with Fiorentina and represented Italy at the international level. 
Although he retired from playing football in 1999, Giannini remains an integral part of the AS Roma community. He continues to work closely with the club and regularly visits its training facilities. Bruno Conti

Bruno Conti is one of the most iconic players to have ever worn the shirt of AS Roma. Having joined the club in 1973, he quickly became an important player in the team, forming part of what was known as the "Magic Triangle" alongside Roberto Pruzzo and Agostino Di Bartolomei. With his skillful dribbling, precise passing, and powerful shots, he was instrumental in helping Roma win their first Scudetto in 1983.
Conti made a total of 363 appearances for the Giallorossi, scoring 35 goals in all competitions. He also represented Italy on 42 occasions, winning the 1982 FIFA World Cup and Euro 1980 with the Azzurri. His impressive performances earned him recognition at the highest level and he won the prestigious Serie A Footballer of the Year award in 1983.
After his retirement, Conti remained close to Roma, serving as a coach at various levels and most recently as a member of the club's board of directors. His legacy remains strong amongst fans and his name is still chanted at the Stadio Olimpico when Roma plays. His place in the pantheon of Roma's greatest players is well-deserved, having contributed to some of the club's finest moments in history.
